Christina APractice Manager, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Christina has been working at Riverside Veterinary Clinic since graduating from Blue Ridge Community College in 2006 with Associate of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology. She started at our clinic as a Licensed Veterinary Technician and became the Practice Manager in 2010. Although Christina loved living in the Shenandoah Valley while attending school, she couldn't wait to move back to the New River Valley where she was born and raised. From a very young age Christina had a passion and love for animals.
When Christina is not at the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.

Megan VClient Service Representative
Megan started working here when she was still in high school as a devoted kennel member. After leaving for a few short years, she made her way back. Megan is a jack of all trades and can do almost any job we have here at the clinic.
Megan shares her home with her husband, daughter, 2 dogs and 2 cats. In her free time, Megan enjoys taking walks with her fur babies and spending time with her family.

McKenzie HVeterinary Assistant
McKenzie started working at Riverside Veterinary Clinic as a kennel attendant in July 2015 and have since became one of our exam room assistants. Her favorite part of the job is getting to know our clients and their pets. She graduated from Radford University in May 2017 with a B.S. in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry, and is currently attending vet school.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her dog Bella and cat Sam, painting, and playing the piano.

Haley BLead Treatment
Haley started working at Riverside Veterinary Clinic in May 2016. She is one of our Exam Room assistants who is a huge asset to our doctors as well as our kennel manager. Haley has graduated with a MS in Veterinary Forensics at University of Florida. Currently she is pursuing her Veterinary Technician degree. She will begin classes toward her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in the fall of 2022.
Haley enjoys working with her farm animals and spending time with her dogs.

Sarah SVeterinary Assistant
Sarah has been working at Riverside Veterinary Clinic since Spring of 2020 as a veterinary assistant. She is currently working on her degree to become a licensed veterinary technician.
In her free time she loves to spend time with her daughter, husband and fur babies.

Thanja BProfessional Pet Groomer
Thanja started working as our Professional Pet Groomer in February of 2020. She completed her training at the grooming academy in 2010 and her favorite breed to groom is a poodle! Thanja enjoys making crafts and music when she is not making your pets beautiful.

Sherry GClient Service Representative
Sherry joined our team in June of 2021, bringing 12 years of combined experience as a veterinary assistant in small and large animal practice. Sherry has two dogs, 8 cats, two turtles and a duck! She has a passion for rescue and has helped rehome hundreds of kittens. During her free time she enjoys reading, painting, drawing and crafting.

Christina began working at Riverside in April of 2021 as a veterinary assistant. She has been working with animals for the last 6 years as a groomer as well as in a laboratory setting. Christina wanted to work in a clinic because she believes that 'animals do so much to improve our lives, it feels good to play a part in improving their lives too!'.
In her free time Christina enjoys painting, clay sculpting, as well as spending time with her husband, dog, cat, turtle, and many ducks!

Beth BVeterinary Assistant/ Customer Service
Beth originally began working at Riverside Veterinary clinic in 2013. After a short break, Beth came back to us in 2021 and picked up right where she left! When she is not helping you with your fur baby's needs she is spending time with her 3 sons and her pack of hounds on the mountain.

Lisa ALicensed Veterinary Technician
Lisa started in veterinary medicine in 1996, getting her LVT in 2005. She has had a deep love for animals since she was a child and decided to channel that passion and turn it into a career! Her favorite part of working in vet med is assisting in surgery.
When she is not being our surgical guru at Riverside, she enjoys spending time at the beach, cuddling with her 3 kitties, and reading a good book!

Brittany FVeterinary Assistant
Brittany began working at Riverside originally in February of 2021, took a short break, and returned to us in the Spring of 2022. She aspires to become a Veterinarian and is currently studying to get a Bachelors in Biology.
When Brittany is not working in our treatment room she is studying, playing with her 2 dogs, or going to the gym.

Casey C.Veterinary Assistant
Casey is originally from Florida and began working at Riverside in December of 2021 as an Exam Room Assistant. She has been working in Veterinary medicine since 2020 and is currently enrolled in Penn Foster in pursuit of her Veterinary Technician License.
When Casey is not at work she enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Siri and Reeses and creative writing.

Rylee AClient Service Representative
Rylee started working at Riverside in September of 2022, but has been a part of the Riverside family as long as she can remember as her mom is our Practice Manager! Rylee is a smiling face at our front desk and also assists with office duties. Her career goal is to become a Nurse Practitioner and work in trauma.
When Rylee is not assisting you with your pet's needs, she is home with her dogs or spending time with her family.

Heather HClient Service Representative
Heather started working at Riverside in October of 2022 as a receptionist to help you and your furry friends. Heather has always felt a connection to animals and felt that working at a veterinary clinic would be the perfect way to give back to one of her passions.
In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time with her rabbits and her 3 children.

Kelsie PLead Client Service Representative/Lead Kennel
Kelsie began working at Riverside in April of 2022 as a kennel attendant. Shortly after starting with us, we saw her ability to connect with our clients and their pets and cross trained her as a receptionist. Kelsie is currently pursuing her degree in human sciences in hopes of becoming a Physical Therapist.
When Kelsie is not at the clinic, she is spending time with her dogs Cash (pictured) and Zion.
